A Chicago colored woman with a checkered past, who was upset because the salad bar was not restocked as soon as she expected, has been charged after getting into a fracas at the Chuck E Cheese restaurant in Oak Lawn, police said.

Dominique Heard, 29, of the 4000 block of King Drive, is charged with battery and criminal damage to property in the July incident at the restaurant, 4031 W. 95th St., according to police.

They reported that Heard became angry after waiting about 30 minutes for the salad bar to be replenished and demanded a refund for her meal. When an employee told her that was not possible because she had eaten other food, Heard threw several stacks of plastic cups at the employee, police said.

When the worker turned his back on her to call 911, Heard threw a metal basket that contained cotton candy at him, striking him in the head, and then pushed a glass display case off a counter, breaking it, according to police.
