A 29-year-old Milwaukee Negro is being charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety with the use of a dangerous weapon as well as possession of a firearm by a felon after an Aug. 8 shooting outside a bowling alley in Wauwatosa.

According to a criminal complaint:

Wauwatosa police responded to a call at 1:38 a.m. at AMF Bolwero, located on 117th block of W. Burleigh St.

At the location, an adult man was outside the front entrance and appeared to have two gunshot wounds to his upper abdomen and a third to his waist area. The victim was breathing and had trouble maintaining consciousness.

According to a witness, it appeared the victim tried to pick a fight with Otis P. Taylor. After the verbal confrontation continued, the victim told Taylor to "step outside."

The witness said he heard three gun shots outside. He then observed the victim being carried to the lobby and placed outside the front doors.

It is unclear as to when and how Taylor was taken into custody.

Taylor has previous court records of illegally owning a firearm as well as a second-degree account of recklessly endangering safety.
