Leif "Magic Carpet Ride" Erickson
The bad trip continued Friday for a Waukesha man police say was naked and high on LSD when he rammed his truck into several squad cars on Tuesday.
Leif Erickson, 21, was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment, one count hit-and-run causing injury and one count of fleeing and eluding, all of which are felonies. He was also charged with obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct-domestic abuse, both misdemeanors.
He admitted being on LSD on Tuesday night when he rammed his pickupinto two parked squad cars, lost control during the ensuing chase and hit a squad car again before crashing.
The woman accused of supplying him drugs, Katie Wiedenbeck, 31, of Waukesha was charged Thursday with one count of felony heroin possession and misdemeanor charges of THC and drug paraphernalia possession.
According to the complaint:
Two police officers were parked in their patrol cars in the lot at Haertel Field on Newhall Ave. in Waukesha about 7:45 p.m. when they heard a tire squeal and Erickson's Ford Ranger came plowing through a fence and into the patrol cars.
