A 21-year-old woman was sexually assaulted early Thursday near the DePaul University campus, police said.

She was in the 900 block of West Belden Avenue at 1:40 a.m. when a black male approached her, knocked her to the ground and raped her, police said.

She was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition.
