Police Cmdr. Lou Cammiso, in an email message early Monday afternoon, would only confirm "a strong-arm robbery of a pizza delivery driver" had taken place, and that two people were in custody in connection with that crime. He said further details would likely be released later Monday.
A police bulletin declared the robbery occurred about 5:53 p.m. Friday at a fourth-floor unit at the Naper Trails apartment complex, 1673 Coach Drive. The complex is southeast of the intersection of Bailey Road and Washington Street.
Cammiso said no one was injured during the robbery.
