A Cook County judge ordered an alleged prostitute released on his own recognizance on felony charges he punched a South Side alderman early Sunday morning.

Judge Donald Panarese Jr. denied a prosecution motion to place Cordale Profit, 22, on electronic monitoring.

"This happened at 3:30 in the morning?" asked Panarese, looking puzzled.

The judge then ordered Profit to stay away from 17th Ward Ald. David Moore.

"Just stay away from him – understand?" the judge told Profit.

Prosecutors identified Profit as a transgender prostitute and said Profit struck Moore four times on his right forearm after opening the driver's door of the alderman's car.
