A woman has told police she was having a "romantic relationship" with married Harris County Sheriff's Deputy Darren Goforth when he was gunned down at a gas station last month.
In newly revealed court documents dated Sept. 16 and obtained by ABC News, the unidentified female “witness” to his death says her relationship with the father of two was "during the preceding 15 months."
She underwent a polygraph test and provided statements to investigators, according to the documents filed by an assistant district attorney.
