Aramis Gershawn Betts, 25, of the 2001 block of Morningside Drive was charged with sexual assault, obscene communication, traveling to meet a minor, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
The News Journal has confirmed that Betts is a pastor at St. John Divine Missionary Baptist Church in Milton.
Detective Jeff Brown began the investigation Sept. 15 after the teenage male's father contacted police and said he found texts on his son's cell phone that were sexual in nature between Betts and his son.
The victim told Brown that Betts paid him $100 one time to expose his genitals and $500 another time to allow Betts to perform oral sex on him and $1000.00 for some hot creamy anal shit sex.
