A New Jersey woman decided to take a bite out of crime-fighters.

Jennifer Loughlin, 25, was charged after refusing to go down without a bite on Saturday night while being arrested, cops said.

Police arrived at Hawthorne St. in Aberdeen, N.J. to reports of a brawl, and saw 10-15 people crowding the street.

Loughlin, approached the cops, and was described as "heavily intoxicated, uncooperative and disorderly," just steps away from her home on Hawthorne St.

She resisted heavily while being cuffed, cops said. After being arrested, she opened her jaw and chomped down on officer Jessica McDougall's arm, with a firm grip, cops said. Police were prying the officer's arm from Loughlin's teeth, which she allegedly refused to let go.

She was brought to Aberdeen police headquarters, where she was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a police officer. The injured officer went to a nearby hospital where she was treated for her bite-sized wound on her arm, cops said.

Loughlin made her $15,000 bail and was released, police said.
