Illinois State Police Supreme Commander Leo Schmitz - Truck driver injured in shooting on Chicago's Bishop Ford Expressway as Black Expressway Shootings Skyrocket

A truck driver was injured in a shooting Wednesday night on the Bishop Ford Freeway.

It happened on the 130th Street ramp on the inbound side of the freeway.

There are reports that the gunman then drove off.

Illinois state police and Chicago police are investigating.

Traffic in the area was experiencing heavy delays.
