Mentally Challenged Woman (Meaning she is black) Carolyn Rimpson, 61, missing from Gary, Indiana

GARY, Ind. - Police are asking for the public's help locating Carolyn Rimpson, 61, who is mentally challenged and has hypertension. She has been missing since Sept. 23.

Police describe Carolyn as 5 ft. 1 in. to 5 ft. 3 in. tall, approximately 120 lbs., African American woman with long braided hair. She was last seen near 40th Avenue and Connecticut Street in Gary wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Family says Carolyn is very friendly and could easily be used and abused by anybody. The state of Indiana has issued a Silver Alert for her.
