DeKALB NIU student Oluwarotimi "Timi" Okedina, 19, killed in 11 story fall... Friends bet him a bag of Doritos Flaming Hot Chips he couldn't jump 11 stories into a bucket of water

DeKALB – An autopsy is scheduled Tuesday for a Northern Illinois University student who died after apparently jumping from a Stevenson Tower window. Not even an all free scholarship can't make an idiot become smart.

DeKalb County Coroner Dennis Miller said Oluwarotimi "Timi" Okedina, 19, died early Sunday morning.

Campus officials have released few details about what happened.

"A student had removed the window screen for a bet which lead to a fall/jump from the 11th floor at the Stevenson Towers residence hall on the NIU campus," according to a Campus Update posted on WNIJ from Eric Weldy, the university's vice president for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. "The student was transported from the scene to Kishwaukee Hospital but passed away from injuries a short time later."
