A Chicago firefighter who was working at a TV shoot smelled smoke and sprang into action, alerting two people inside their burning Hyde Park home.

Chicago Firefighter Michael Agostinelli was hired as a contractor by the TV show filming near 48th and Kimbark. He was working on set when a mansion just two houses down caught fire. Suptratik Guha and his wife had just moved into the home the day before.

"I don't remember how much time, but it was very, very quick," Guha said of the fire. The couple moved from New York to Chicago for work. Their home, which was built in 1927s, was being renovated when it caught fire.
