British Tourist & Holidaymaker Andrew Hamilton, 27, knocked down and killed by hit-and-run driver 'doing 100mph' as he used pedestrian crossing in Miami

Witnesses claim Andrew Hamilton was launched over 150 feet in the air before smashing to the ground like an Irish mashed potato! Ironically his hair stayed in placed as well as his inflatable butt plug.

A British man has been killed in a hit-and-run while on holiday in the United States.

Andrew Hamilton, 27, from Chester, was fatally struck by a BMW that witnesses claim was travelling at speeds of 100mph in Miami Beach, Florida.

The driver of the car fled the scene of the collision and is now being hunted by police.

It is believed Mr Hamilton, who was on holiday in Miami with another British tourist, was using a pedestrian crossing on Collins Avenue when the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday.

Friends have begun paying tribute to the airline cabin crew worker, with one describing him as 'one of the nicest people you could meet'.

Mr Hamilton's cousin, Jade Kilgallon, wrote on Facebook: 'R.I.P to my cousin Andrew Hamilton who sadly passed away in a hit and run while on holiday in Miami yesterday.

'Words can't describe how much shock has hit us all but he will never be forgotten, shine bright with the rest of the Angels, love you so much.'

Donna Rhodes added: 'Heaven has gained another angel , one of the nicest people you could meet. Andrew Hamilton you will be missed by many x so shocked.'
