A 17-year-old boy was killed and a 20-year-old man was wounded during a shooting late Friday in the Englewood neighborhood, police said.

The man and the teen, identified as Torri Williams of the 9000 block of South Laflin Street, were standing on the corner of 64th and South Justine streets when the shooting happened, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

A shooter exited a parked white Cadillac, walked over to the corner and opened fire, hitting the boy in the chest and the man in the arm, police said.

The teen was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital of Cook County, police said.

The man's condition had stabilized at Holy Cross Hospital, according to police.

Latresee Williams, the mother of Torri Williams, said she was with her son when the shooting happened.
