"DRIVING WHILE BLACK" Fatal crash closes outbound Eisenhower on West Side

A woman was killed and five others were injured early Friday in a rollover crash on the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) on the West Side, prompting all outbound lanes to be closed, fire officials said.

The single-vehicle crash happened about 4:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-290 near Laramie, according to Illinois State Police.
