One of the two teens accused in the shooting of an off-duty Oak Park police officer threw urine at a guard in the juvenile detention center, prosecutors said in court Monday.
Taiwan McNeal, 18, and David Bush, 17, both have been charged with the attempted murder of the police officer. They appeared separately in front of Judge Erica L. Reddick on July 27 at the Cook County Criminal Courthouse in Chicago.
Prosecutors said during Bush's hearing that the teen had "urinated into a juice carton and threw it on a guard" at the juvenile detention center where he's being held.
