The National Transportation Safety Board continues to investigate a deadly plane crash that killed two men from the Louisville area.
NTSB investigators were at the crash scene Monday looking at the plane and the surrounding area and hoping to talk to witnesses who heard or saw the crash.
Bill Lanman, the pilot and Jim Arnold, the passenger, are both from the Louisville area. They were both found dead inside the plane, in a field near Bristol, Wisconsin Sunday afternoon.
Family said the men left Bowman Field Saturday around 8:30 a.m. They stopped in Indiana around 11:00 a.m. Arnold's wife said he promised to call in 2.5 hours, but the call never came, so she alerted authorities to start searching for the small plane.
