Arne Duncan destroyed the Chicago Public Schools as its leader and was rewarded by Obama by being promoted to the top education position in the country thanks to Chicago corruption
Speaking of which a head line from today:

Education Secretary Arne Duncan will step down in December, a White House official said Friday.

Duncan, 50, has served as U.S. education secretary since President Barack Obama took office in 2009. He was chief executive officer of Chicago Public Schools from June 2001 through December 2008.

The ninth U.S. secretary of education, Duncan has visited schools in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, the Education Department said.

Obama is to discuss the news at a press conference at 2:30 p.m. Chicago time Friday, the White House official said.

John King Jr., deputy secretary of education, is to replace Duncan, although The Associated Press said King will serve as acting secretary of the department until Obama's term ends in 2017.
