An Uptown man was charged with theft after being accused of stealing a suitcase from the baggage claim area Tuesday morning at the O’Hare International Airport.
Noel Fulgencio, 35, was charged with one felony count of theft, according to a statement from the Chicago Police Department.
Fulgencio was identified as the person who removed a suitcase from the baggage claim at O’Hare around 9 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
The suitcase contained property valued at over $90,000, according to the statement.
Officials arrested Fulgencio in the 3000 block of West Lawrence Avenue around 2:15 p.m. Friday.
Police officers found the suitcase and were able to recover its contents.
Fulgencio, of the 4800 block of North Magnolia Avenue, is scheduled to appear in Cook County bond court Saturday.
